A Temple of the Holy Spirit: Day 10 of Who Does God Say You Are? Journaling Prompts

We're continuing with our 28 days of "Who does God say you are?" journaling prompts with the topic "a temple of the Holy Spirit." To learn more about this prompt series, start here.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 tells us this:

"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you? whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body."

It's important for us to view our lives with spiritual eyes, even when it comes to our bodies. With Holy Spirit residing within us, we are enabled and empowered to glorify the Father.

Keep this in mind as you journal with God today. Reread the passage, then pull out your favorite journal.

  1. Reflect on what it means to have the Holy Spirit within you.
  2. Ask yourself, "Am I viewing and treating my body as if it is something of value?"
  3. Ask God, "How can I glorify you in my body?"
