God's Workmanship: Day 1 of Who Does God Say You Are? Journaling Prompts

Who does God say you are? Throughout the month of February, we're looking at 28 Bible verses, with corresponding journaling prompts, to consider who God has created and called you to be.

The title for Day 1 of our "Who Does God Say You Are?" journaling prompts is "God's Workmanship." Did you know that we are God's workmanship, His creation, the work of His hands? This theme comes from Ephesians 2:10, which reads:

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

Take a moment to read the verse and meditate on it, then grab your favorite journal and get ready to journal with God.

  1. Reflect on what it means to be God’s workmanship.
  2. Ask yourself, “Am I fulfilling my function and purpose as God’s creation?"
  3. Ask God, “How can I walk in the good works that you have created me for in Christ Jesus and prepared beforehand?”
